Britney Spears - Gymnastics and Dance

Britney Spears was trained in gymnastics and dancing it seems very young.

You know, a lot of dancers can do back walkovers now, and me in gymnastics classes age 1 3/4 - 8 going twice a week by the end was considered good but never did the things cheerleaders do and was struggling with my back walkover at the end.  I didn't really dance until my mom put me in ballet at 5.  Thereafter, I wanted to stay.  I never wanted to do gymanstics like they do seriously, neither.  I just used it for sport... to be attractive actually.  I figured if I did too much I'd be too different.  Still, I just joined an expensive gym and am doing as much as possible class-wise.

"The Real World"

Students need to know if they want to be classical musicians as early as grades 1-5, it seems.

...  It's a good activity to do for fun, but I didn't decide on one thing until later in the game.  I also liked singing and dancing.  Kids do things like that if they're not rebellious or if they're not ... "busy."  You know, I moved to a different state at age 12, and it was hard to keep up with the homework, though I got the highest grades for many years of my life.  One other catch is if you're smart in school you can get into a good college and still study music and get a BM degree.  What happened with me is I chose to do choir and was teaching myself piano and then my parents put me in lessons; my aunt had given me a lesson book or so.  I started piano at 9 years old, in 4th grade.  People said I was good and beyond some of their teaching levels, at least a couple teachers, for some reason, maybe like they just did piano on the side.  Maybe, some pianists aren't as graceful or don't possess as much strength and control; after all, I was active taking gymnastics classes since age 1 3/4 years old, asked my mom to keep me in them as early as age 2 years old and finally quit when we moved somewhere when I was 8/9 years old.

Then, there's things like ballet, which isn't as strong as other sports maybe like gymnastics, in ways.  Most people seem to start dance when they're 3, girls, and boys do sports often.  Some boys play in band.  In the US, it seems like you either did ballet or dance, and some somehow got left behind, sorta like me, in classical music.

Learning Types

We all learn visually, auditorally, and kinesthetically.  It's just about which is our learning strength, maybe different ones at different times.

The MBTI

Did you ever consider using it in the school?

I went to special meetings at my church about personality types and tests in the church.
